1. Who we are

LicenseMyEA is an online platform that helps MetaTrader Expert Advisor (EA) developers protect code, manage licenses, and sell products. This policy applies to LicenseMyEA users, sellers, and buyers.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information: email address, name, password (if you register with email), plan, credits, and marketplace role.
• Google account information (Google Sign-In): when you choose "Continue with Google," we receive from Google your Google user ID, email address, email verification status, and name (and, if provided by Google, basic profile information needed for sign-in). We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or other Google content.
• Product and license data: EA and marketplace product details you upload, license keys, customer emails you associate with licenses, and related usage or delivery records.
• Payment and marketplace data: order details, seller profile information, payout preferences (such as crypto payout addresses), and payment status from our payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Technical and support data: IP address, device or browser type, logs needed for security and reliability, and messages you send to support.

3. How we use Google user data

LicenseMyEA uses Google user data solely to authenticate you and operate your LicenseMyEA account. Specifically, we use your Google email, name, and Google user ID to:

• Create or sign you into your LicenseMyEA account
• Link a Google identity to an existing account when appropriate
• Identify you within the Service (dashboard, licenses, marketplace)
• Send transactional emails related to your account or purchases
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access

We limit our use of Google user data to providing or improving user-facing features of LicenseMyEA. We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, personalized ads, selling to data brokers, determining credit-worthiness, lending, building unrelated databases, or training AI models.

4. How we use other personal information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service
• Process payments, credits, orders, and seller payouts
• Deliver licenses, protected builds, and marketplace products
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
• Comply with applicable law and protect our rights and users

5. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information—including Google user data—to third parties. We may share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers: hosting, authentication (including Google for sign-in), email delivery, and payment processors that help us run the Service, under contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.
• Marketplace transactions: limited order or delivery details may be processed so buyers receive products and sellers receive payouts.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect LicenseMyEA, our users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose other than providing or improving LicenseMyEA's functionality as described above.

6. Data storage and security

We store account and service data on secured servers and use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure authentication practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your data and continuously improve our safeguards.

EA source code and protected builds you upload are processed only as needed to provide protection, licensing, storage, and delivery. We do not use your code for advertising or unrelated purposes.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, fulfill transactions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

8. Your choices: access, control, and deletion

You may:

• Review account details while signed in (including via Dashboard → Settings)
• Delete your LicenseMyEA account and associated personal data from Dashboard → Settings (email confirmation required), subject to legal retention needs (for example, completed transaction records)
• Request deletion or help by emailing support@licensemyea.com
• Revoke LicenseMyEA's access to your Google account at Google Account → Third-party access. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete your LicenseMyEA account; use in-app deletion or contact us to delete account data.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, and understand basic product usage so we can improve LicenseMyEA. We do not use Google user data for advertising cookies or cross-site ad targeting.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International users

LicenseMyEA may process information in countries other than where you live. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards consistent with this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we change how we use Google user data in a material way, we will notify you (for example by email or an in-product notice) and, where required, obtain consent before the new use. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
